Teacher Training in the National Capital Region

To enhance the quality of teachers, Amity Institute of Education has started a programme of training 500 teachers in the National Capital Region.The teachers will be working for the education of the underprivileged children under a project funded by a foreign government in September 2006.This training programme is spread over a year and will end by September 2007. Ranjana Bhatia, professor and principal, said: "The training includes adoption of Action Research for identifying and resolving classroom problems."
