The results of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and the Indian Council of Secondary Examination (ICSE) will be declared on Saturday. Around 90,000 students appeared for the Class X (ICSE) and 44,000 for Class XII (ISC) examinations this year.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), which conduct the exams, said that the results will be declared at 3 pm. There are only a few schools in the city who conduct their own exams. These include Shriram School, Shriram School Aravalli, Frank Anthony Public School and Swami Hariharnand Public School.

The best performers are judged by the marks they score in best of four subjects and the Board doesn't declare any toppers like other examination boards.

As for performance, girls have been doing well for many years. Last year, the overall pass percentage for Class X was 96 and that for Class XII was 93.5, with girls faring better than boys on both the fronts. Girls appearing for the ICSE had a pass percentage of 96.93 whereas boys had a pass percentage of 95.29.

Their ISC counterparts too fared better. The pass percentage for ISC girls was 95.96 as opposed to 91.64 secured by the boys. The highest pass percentage for Class X was 97.60 and for Class XII 98.25.
