Can it be used for calculating 'best four' percentage to get admission into DU for commerce course?
By Sumit Kumar, Section Ask Questions
I am a Class XII student with physical education as an additional subject. Can it be used for calculating the "best four" percentage to get admission into Delhi University for the commerce course?
A. Colleges take into account the score of the best four subjects while deciding on admissions. This means four academic subjects, including English. The fifth subject can be a vocational subject or physical education. For admission to a commerce degree, you require any four academic subjects, preferably economics, business studies and accounts with English. Physical Education cannot be counted as one of the four academic subjects for a B. COM degree. Moreover, keep in mind that for a B. Com Honours programme you also require Maths as a subject in Class XII board exams. Source: HT's HGorizons, October-22-2008
