Over 4,000 to 5,000 visitors are expected to attend the event. Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna would be the chief guest. School and college students from across the city would participate in the flower show.

Besides, 63 other competitions like - Biology quiz, painting and rangoli will be held. Street plays will be performed.

The green belt that runs through DU campus include gardens like -- Mughal Garden, Jawahar Vatika and Platinum Jubilee Park. The varsity has a conservatory of around 250 species of rare and medicinal plants. Over 150 gardeners have been appointed to look after the gardens on campus.
