Delhi University's First Cut-Off List Out, Few Variations Between This Year's And Last Year's List

Delhi University's first cut-off list was released late today and, as usual, there are a few variations between this year's and the last year's list.
The cut-off was out around 9 p.m. today. One of the major variations has been in economics honours which has a cut-off of 97%. Admissions will take place on June 27, 28 and 30. The students need to carry a xerox of their marksheets. Deputy dean of DU students' welfare Gurpreet Tuteja advises, "Following the first cut-off list, students should not be choosy. They should immediately reserve a seat in the college they are getting even if it is not the one they desired. Following the second or third cut-off, they may get a seat at a better college if there are vacancies but right now they should not hesitate." The second cut-off list will be out on July 1 and the third will be out on July 5. While the fourth cut-off list is scheduled for July 10. Source: Tribune news service 26/Jun/2008
