Kuwait firm to set up training centre at Faridabad,courses approved by Central Government

Haryana Industrial Training and Vocational Education Minister A.C. Chaudhary said the Al-Ghanim and Al-Majid Logistics Group Company (WLL), Kuwait would set up an industrial training centre at Faridabad to impart training in various technical courses duly approved by Director General Employment and Training of the Central Government.
After a meeting with the members of delegation from Kuwait, Chaudhary said the company had also adopted two Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Haryana at Tohana and Bhodia Khera in Fatehabad district. He assured the state government would provide all necessary facilities in functioning of these ITIs. The company would recommend upgrading and adopting new techniques and courses in these ITIs. Keeping in view the increasing demand of petroleum and petro-chemical engineers in Middle-East countries, he said the overseas placement bureau would explore the possibilities to start petro-chemical training centres in the state. After his visit to Dubai and Cyprus, Al-Ghanim and Al-Majid Logistics Group Company (WLL) received a demand for 141 Technicians in Kuwait. The company selected 12 candidates, nine technicians and three drivers and their visas have been received.
General Manager, Jasim Bader Al Majid and Deputy General Manager, Vijay Singh Dhillon had asked for 60 more for working in Kuwait. Parliamentary Secretary, Sharda Rathore, Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Industrial Training, Ajit Mohan Saran, Director, Industrial Training, Sandeep Garg, Director Employment,Krishan Kumar and other officers were also present on this occasion.
