NCERTwill conduct (NTSE-2009) for students in standard 8th

The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will conduct the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE-2009) for those studying in standard eight during 2008 in order to identify talents. Those qualifying the test will be eligible for scholarship for higher studies up to Ph.D. There will be two stages for the selection process.
In stage one, selection will be done by the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) through a written examination, which will be held on November 16, 2008. For more details, visit www.ncert.nic.in Source:The Hindu August12th,2008.
