IGNOU Starts Diploma Programme In Production Of Value-Added Products

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has developed a diploma programme in production of value- added products from cereals, pulses and oilseeds with the objective of developing rural youth as young entrepreneurs in the areas of post harvest technology, rice milling, maize milling, baking and flour confectionary, pulse milling, coarse grain processing and associated activities in the areas of food processing.
After completing this programme, the learners would develop vocational and entrepreneurial skills to widen employment opportunities, particularly the rural youth and the disadvantaged sections of the society. Eligibility requirements for the programme will be offered to 10+2 pass-outs/ Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) from IGNOU and 10th pass can enroll simultaneously for the BPP programme.
