Delhi Technological University Opens Admission For MBA

Delhi Technological University has invited applications for its MBA programme from Delhi School of Management.

The total number of seats is 60. The prospectus and application form for the two-year course can be downloaded from Delhi School of Management website www.dce.edu between January 5 and 8 only.

The forms must be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs 1,000 at the university by February 8.

The applications will be shortlisted on the basis of performance in CAT and other exams. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview and group discussion.

Those having 60% in B.E/ B.Tech or Masters degree in any branch of physical, chemical, mathematical sciences or commerce or economics are eligible for the course.

However, a relaxation of 5% is allowed for CGPA or SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The programme offers specialisation in knowledge and technology management, supply chain management and information technology management.

DTU vice-chancellor Prof P.B. Sharma said, "It has primarily been an engineering institute but after becoming a university, we decided to expand its scope by offering a management school on DTU campus. The school aims to produce managers having technology and management acumen who are skilled to work in the globally-competitive technology-intensive environment."

DTU forayed into management education by opening Delhi School of Management in 2009.
