The results for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) was declared a long time ago but students' anxiety is still not over.

"The university was supposed to start with admissions counseling sessions on July 1 but we have not heard anything from them so far," said J.
Hayavadana, who has cleared the entrance for B. Tech.

The website mentions the counseling dates for various disciplines such as Bachelors of Computer Application and B. Tech as July 1. "We had set the date as July 1 but since we have not got the audit report regarding the number of seats in various colleges so far, we cannot conduct counseling sessions currently," said Nalini Ranjan, media representative, GGSIPU.

Outstation students, meanwhile, are having a tough time in Delhi . "We came to Delhi on July 1 for the counseling but have been waiting for a communication from university authorities," said Shekhar Singh, a resident of Kanpur .

The university authorities are yet to decide upon new dates and have asked students to check the university website, www.ipu.ac.in, on Tuesday for communication.
